Lucrecia leaves Vincnet for Hojo, feeling the need to protect and stand by the inferior scientist. - Hojo impregnates Lucrecia, and Vincent protests as the two infuse Jenova Cells into Lucrecia's Embryo. - Lucrecia dies while giving birth to her and Hojo's son, Sephiroth, as a result of the Jenova Cells. Upon finding her, Vincent furiously pursues Hojo, finally encountering him in the Shin-Ra Mansion's library. Unable to continue tolerating his interference, Hojo shoots Vincent and uses his body for experimentation.
